VYPE: Holden, what grade are you in?
Holden Caruth: I’m a sophomore.
VYPE: What do you love most about being a student-athlete at Broken Arrow HS?
HC: Being a student-athlete gives me the opportunity to participate in something at school other than being in a classroom. I like the fact I have a built-in group of friends I get to see every day.
VYPE: What do you love most about your teammates?
HC: I love my teammates because they encourage me, cheer me on, and push me to do my best.
VYPE: What’s your favorite subject in school and do you have a favorite teacher?
HC: My current favorite subject is Algebra 2 with Ms. Trueblood.
VYPE: Which teammate always impresses you the most or do you have a former teammate who left an impression on you?
HC: Lilliann Skinner is such a strong swimmer who has beaten a few of the high school records already as a sophomore.
VYPE: What is your favorite pre-game and post-game meal?
HC: My favorite pregame meal is chick fil a. My favorite postgame meal is IHOP.
VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
HC: Spending time with my family and dog, Harper.
VYPE: Best place for a swim meet?
HC: Jenks Trojan Aquatic Center.
VYPE: What is the toughest thing you do in practice?
HC: I find the toughest thing to do at practice is butterfly sets
VYPE: Bonus question, what would you like to do after you graduate?
HC: Go to college to get a degree in meteorology.
