On the Court with Logan Shockley – Presented by Rib Crib

A senior at Broken Arrow High School, Logan Shockley has played basketball since he was in the second grade. His older brother is the one who introduced him to the game. As is the case with many siblings, Shockley says that he looks up to his brother very much.

“I see my older brother as a role model,” said Shockley. “He taught me basketball and I always try to be my best for him.” When looking back on his basketball career so far, Shockley’s favorite memory competing was beating Choctaw last year thus propelling them into the state tournament. There are many moments to cherish and some still to be made this season.

Many student athletes would probably agree with Shockley’s sentiment that the best part about playing sports in high school is the “fun seasons, the long nights, and the bus rides spending time with teammates.” Shockley is motivated to give his best on the court because he has high aspirations of earning a scholarship in order to continue playing basketball at the collegiate level.
