Broken Arrow’s Graci Frey

Not every high school student-athlete can say they participated in a sport from the seventh grade through to their senior year, but that’s exactly what Broken Arrow High School’s Graci Frey has accomplished.

 The track and cross country athlete competes in the mile, two-mile and the 4X800. She also joined the cross country team in the ninth grade, making her a four-year starter in XC. Frey said she loves her teammates because they make her better.

“I love my teammates because they really help push myself to become a better athlete,” Frey said. “My teammate and friend Audrey Crisp has really stepped up this year taking on the two-mile at almost every meet by herself and doing amazing at it.”
 
 BAHS supports their student-athletes like no other and athletes like Frey are grateful to attend a school where she can compete against some of the top talent in the state.

“Broken Arrow is such a large school you get to compete against some of the best! Lots of competition within our own community which helps you push yourself to be better,” said Frey.  
 

Frey is known for being a good teammate and someone who wants others to succeed.

“One strength I have is encouraging others around me, this improves the performance of me and my teammates helping us score better,” said Frey.

As a student at Huntington Learning Center, Frey is taking the ACT prep course. Her plan for life after high school includes college and Huntington Learning Center can help her get there.

“It has helped me reestablished the fundamentals that I feel were impacted from Covid,” Frey said. “I want to attend Oklahoma State University with hopes of eventually becoming a dentist.” Frey said her parents are an inspiration and she is grateful to them for everything they do to help her accomplish her goals.
