Broken Arrow High School’s Braden Jones is a varsity wrestler for the Tigers and this season he wrestled at 190-pounds and 175-pounds. Jones has wrestled for five years loves being on the team and around his teammates.
“The thing I most enjoyed being a wrestler was hanging out with my teammates at tournaments, duals, and in hotels,” said Jones.
Jones is not only dedicated to the sport of wrestling, but he’s also dedicated to academics.
“Academics have been an important thing for me, trying to keep my grades high all year long,” said Jones. “After graduating I’m going to go to college and pursue a business degree.”
Like many of his peers, Jones said he finds inspiration in those who came before him and those who are where he wants to be.
“A big influence in my life are people who are better than me at certain things, they push me to improve,” said Jones.
In his free time, you can usually find Jones enjoy some rest and a meal.
