Broken Arrow High School’s Addison Farquhar is in her fourth year of wrestling for one of the top wrestling programs in the state. Now a junior, Farquhar said she loves being part of the larger Tiger family.
“Being a Broken Arrow student-athlete means staying on task at all times, and taking advantage of the opportunity’s I get. My team has such a positive attitude about everything, I love their encouragement towards me and others,” said Farquhar.
Growing in the sport is always the focus for Farquhar. In the offseason, she competes with a club wrestling team. In the classroom, Farquhar said her favorite subject is a foreign language class.
“My favorite subject in school is French, and I love and appreciate all of my teachers.”
Once she adds graduate to her name, Farquhar plans to stay in Oklahoma and continue her education at the next level.
“I would like to go on a gap year, after that I’m planning on going to Oklahoma State University,” said Farquhar.
Farquhar said her family has been a big influence in her life and she is grateful for them and all they have done.
