Broken Arrow Fall Standouts
Here are 9 athletes who made a big impression during their Fall seasons this year.
No. 9 Elle Hendrickson, Senior – BA Cross Country
Elle was the top runner for the girls team all season.
No. 8 Jordyn Davis, Senior – BA Softball
Starting catcher for the Lady Tigers softball team, Jordyn hit .385 and drove in 29 RBIs to help BA to the state tournament.
No. 7 Kaylee Duffey, Senior – BA Cheer
Kaylee is a 4-year member of varsity cheer. During that time, she was a 2021 UCA National Champion, a 2022 State Champion, and a 2023-2024 All-Region cheer team selectee.
No. 6 Avery Jones, Senior – BA Volleyball
Avery is the Libero and team captain on the varsity volleyball team. A 4-year starter, Avery is the team leader in digs with 454 and serves received with 623. She his 445 serves on the season with a 92.6 serves made percentage.
No. 5 Eli Hopkins, Senior – BA Cross Country
A University of Arkansas-Little Rock commit, recently won conference and was the regional runner-up. Eli helped the boys team secure the conference team title and the regional runner up finish.
No. 4 Aliya Scarborough, Senior – BA Softball
That rare combination player who is comfortable at both corners, Scarborough played 3rd and 1st base for the Lady Tigers and hit .485 on the season. Aliya also drove in 41 RBIs.
No. 3 Hannah Stanley, Senior – BA Cheer
Four-year member of varsity cheer team, Hannah was recently named to the 2023-24 All-State cheer team. During her career at BA, Hannah was a 2021 UCA National Champion, and 2022 State Champion.
No. 2 Maysie Childers, Senior – BA Softball
One of the best outfielders in the state, Maysie batted .438 with 44 RBIs while helping BA to a 31-4 record and a trip to the state tournament. BA was ranked No. 3 in Class 6A.
No. 1 Lauren Harms, Senior – BA Volleyball
Team captain and a three-year starter, Lauren is an outside hitter who recorded 232 kills on 803 attacks, had 603 serves received on the season, and 303 serves on the season with a 91.4 serves made percentage.
