Broken Arrow mother of two, Stacey Davis, has been a member of the booster club for softball for five years. Daughter Jordyn (Sr.) is a member of the varsity softball team and son Carson (8 th ) is a member of the band.
“I’m the booster club treasurer for softball. In that role I am the contact to pay all invoices as well as handle all booster club funding. As a board member, I help make sure that the girls have what they need when they travel to away games, help host home games and tournaments, help with concession and basically anything the coaches or our president needs at the time,” said Davis.
As a volunteer, Davis said being around the girls and watching them grow over the years is what she enjoys most about being a volunteer.
“I enjoy getting to know the parents and families as well. I believe that it is important to show support to your children in sports, school and any activities they are involved in. Our players and coaches give so much on a daily basis that I believe that it is the parent’s responsibility to help by volunteering when they can,” said Davis.
The former BA graduate said she has always liked the school system and the support they provide to the students.
“The programs that BA makes available to our students set us apart from many other schools. And the teachers my kids have had over the years have been incredible,” said Davis.
Away from school, the Davis family enjoys traveling, concerts, movies, and spending time with their dogs.
