BA Lady Tiger Softball Winning Streaks
When the fastpitch softball season started in early August, the Lady Tigers knew they would have a good team this season. They opened the season with 8 wins in a row before losing a game to Bartlesville in the Owasso Festival. Big wins over Bixby and Sand Springs kicked off another winning streak and a road trip to Joplin, MO. added to the 12-game winning streak in the heart of the schedule. Now the Tigers are riding a five-game winning streak with two games remaining on the regular season schedule. Their runner-up finish in 2022 has the Lady Tigers hungry for a state title in 2023.
Experience and Talent Paying Off on the Court
Coming into the season, head coach Ian Bullen knew the team had a strong group of seniors and in his words, “a good mix of experienced players with a few new faces.” The Lady Tigers have 11 wins over ranked teams and are currently 18-7 overall. The volleyball team is ranked No. 5 in Class 6A with the Jenks Tournament starting today. Look for the Lady Tigers in Regionals set for October 10 th .
